A step-by-step schedule. Your clinician sets the dose.
Therapy starts at 2 mg and increases every four weeks. From week 13 onward, your clinician keeps you at 3 to 4 mg weekly. Each dose is drawn in a 100 unit (1 mL) syringe; the fill shows how far to draw.

Side effects, named plainly.
GLP-1 therapy is a prescription medicine with known side effects. Most are gastrointestinal and ease over the first weeks. Read the full Medication Guide before your first dose and keep it with your injection.
Nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, stomach pain, headache, tiredness, dizziness and injection-site reactions. These are most common when starting or increasing a dose.
Severe stomach pain that does not go away, signs of low blood sugar, vision changes, a lump in the neck or trouble swallowing, or an allergic reaction. In an emergency, call 911.
Do not use if you or a family member have had medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2, or if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Tell your clinician about all medicines you take.
Keep the injection refrigerated at 2–8°C. Do not freeze. Use a new needle for every injection and dispose of it in a sharps container.
